Island Full Moonrise. 25 of 25 Days of Small Paintings.
I chose this experience because it was one of my most magical island moments for 2021. As the July’s full moon was rising to my left, the sun was setting to the right. The bonus was my favorite Madrona tree was simply hugging the emerging moonlight, as was I. The west side of San Juan Island offers this incredible gift for those who truly wish to let in nature’s love fully.
