Here, just taking notes from sea turtle wisdom.
As I immersed into a lovely studio residency at a dear artist friend’s pad and studio in Florida, I rediscovered my sea turtle love from when I lived raising my kids, teaching art, designing brands, helping non-profit organizations with both design and artworks, and exhibiting art. Whew! No wonder I needed sea turtles so much!
Being a mom is essentially a full time job in itself, yet to maintain everything else, I recall how it literally felt like the spinning plates circus act.
Sigh…relax. Chill with nature! I say that to mothers and fathers everywhere, and anyone experiencing any adversity, challenge or grief.
Today is much different, yet, can still be overwhelming. It was a wonderful experience to get to be back to my other hometown of Stuart, Florida, and this beauty simply spilled out of me. It was truly a soothing, and healing experience. I was spending much of time sorting out the past, the past of both amazing and not so wonderful times…healing the grief and making sense of the time with my late husband and partner of 29 years, who yes, unfortunately lost his battle to addiction.
So sea turtles…let them remind us to just chill. Chill, and enjoy life for what the gift of life is! Thank you, my chilling green sea turtle beauty, for helping me glide through any challenge, and embrace the world’s beauty, and the beauty within all of us. Love, serenity and wisdom in nature is always there if we let nature in.
I certainly hope Miss Just Chill, can bring some soothing, healing and happy wisdom into someone’s realm!
